Amy Lou Adams, full name Amy Lou Adams (born 20 August 1974, Aviano Italy), American actress. She is renowned for her naive roles that are fun and loved by critics. Adams was one of seven siblings that grew up when she was a kid in Castle Rock, CO. She was born while her father was working for the U.S. Military in Italy. She started dancing and performing professionally during the late 1990s at Boulder Dinner Theatre, and following that the Country Dinner Playhouse. After moving to Minnesota, she took part in a film mock-documentary about beauty pageants titled Drop Dead Gorgeous (1998). Following her debut on screen as a funny but dapper contestant, she moved towards Los Angeles to pursue an acting career.
