Nadia and Carol

Nadia Comaneci is a Romanian gymnast (born 12 November 1961, in Gheorghe Gheorghiu Dej [now Onestiin Gheorghe Gheorghiu dej, now Onesti Romania). She was the first to achieve a perfect 10 on an Olympic celebration. Comaneci was discovered by Bela Karolyi who was later her Romanian gymnastics coach when she was just six years old. In 1969, she competed in the Romanian Junior Championships where she placed 13th. In 1970, she won the title. She won three golds in her very first contest at a junior Olympic meet in 1972 that was held by communist bloc countries. The following year, 1973 as well as 1974, she became the junior all-round champion. The athlete won four golds and one silver medals at her debut competition as a senior, held in 1975. This was her first time she participated as an older senior. In 1976, she became the first female athlete in the world to use a backwards-double salto for a dismount off parallel bars. Carol Wayne.........................Carol Wayne was an American film and TV actor best recognized for portraying Art Fern's Tea-Time Movie Lady on The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson. The journey of Carol Wayne in the world of entertainment began in her teens. With her sister Nina Wayne, she joined the traveling entertainment show known as Ice Capades. Carol Marie Wayne, born in Chicago Illinois US on 6 September 1942. Carol began her journey into the entertainment business as a teenager. Early on she was a figure skater on the show Ice Capades with her sister Nina Wayne. They featured dramatic skating on ice shows.
